The South Korean foreign ministry has been making diplomatic efforts to explain Japan’s ‘unjust’ export curbs to major European nations… ahead of the G7 summit slated for later this month.
The foreign ministry’s Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs Yun Kang-hyeong visited the British Foreign Office and met with the Director General of Global Issues Menna Rawlings on Thursday local time.
Conveying Seoul’s stance on Tokyo’s export curbs to the British official,… Yun asked the UK not to lean towards Japan’s claims at the G7 summit.
The South Korean diplomat met with France officials to discuss the matter on the previous day,… and plans to sit down with German officials and visit other EU nations to deliver Seoul’s message.
